Atlanta Grade School

By the 1990s, Miller Grade School, as it was called then, became an eyesore. The local school district determined that the school was no longer suitable for its use and sold the property. Plans called for demolition and construction of a new facility. School Alumni were broken hearted and began working to save the repository of memories. Today, Atlanta Grade School Friends have developed plans for the restoration of the school with Texarkana College being one of the first occupants upon completion.
